A humanist, or non-religious ceremony is a ceremony performed before the burial or cremation of the deceased, without any rituals of a religious nature, as chosen by the deceased or the family, mainly for reasons closely tied to religion

Commemorations serve as symbolic rites based on religion. The attendees partake in acts of commemorative communion in remembrance of the deceased

Cremation services

In the process of a cremation, the remains are reduced to ashes within a specially formed incinerator. This process may either be the wish of the deceased, or the preferred method of the ones close to them, for religious, political or sanitary reasons, or simply due to preference.

For the families wishing to bury their loved ones in their country of origin, MEGREMIS funeral home offers the option of handling to the fullest extend, the transportation and funeral ceremony, in a dignified and safe manner, to any location in Greece or abroad.

Remains Transportation

It’s impossible to predict the place one will be in, once the inevitable occurs. This is the reason why our services are summoned in cases of unforeseen occurs or after medical treatment, to transport the deceased to their final resting place.
